DHA is used as a color additive for external application to the skin. Exposure to the eyes, lips, mucous membranes, inhalation and ingestion should be avoided. Protective options are available for each service.
Preparation: For the most even application, complete other beauty services first, exfoliate and shave approximately 24 hours before the appointment whenever possible, and arrive with clean, completely dry, product-free skin.
Development: The cosmetic guide color may transfer before the first rinse. Water, sweating, skin-to-skin contact, tight clothing and friction can affect the developing tan.
Rinsing: The cosmetic guide color will wash away during the first rinse. This does not mean the developed tan has disappeared. First-rinse and first-shower timing varies by solution and will be provided at the appointment.
Aftercare: Daily hydration and tan-friendly products support a more even-looking fade. Individual results and wear time vary based on the client’s skin, preparation, chosen solution, activities and aftercare.

Spray tanning involves the external application of a cosmetic solution containing dihydroxyacetone, commonly called DHA, which temporarily darkens the appearance of the outermost layer of skin. DHA is intended for external application. Contact with the eyes, lips and mucous membranes, as well as inhalation or ingestion of the mist, should be avoided.
Protective options have been offered and my selections are recorded in this form. I understand that individual sensitivities and allergic reactions are possible and that no cosmetic product can be guaranteed to be reaction-free for every person. I have disclosed known allergies, sensitivities, skin concerns and other information that may reasonably affect my service.
I understand that spray-tan results vary. Color depth, development, longevity and fading may be affected by skin characteristics, preparation, solution selection, rinse timing, medications or topical products, hormones, activities and aftercare. A typical spray tan may remain visible for approximately 5–10 days, but no specific result or duration is guaranteed.
I understand that the cosmetic guide color may transfer to clothing, bedding, furniture or personal belongings before the first rinse. I accept responsibility for following preparation, clothing, rinse and aftercare instructions and for protecting my clothing and belongings.
I understand that a spray tan does not contain sunscreen unless expressly labeled otherwise and does not protect against sunburn or ultraviolet exposure. Normal sun-protection practices remain necessary.
If I am pregnant or breastfeeding, I understand that 50 Shades of Bronze encourages me to consult my healthcare provider or OB-GYN before receiving the service. I understand that choosing to proceed is my personal decision.
If this is my first spray tan before an appearance-sensitive event, I understand that a trial appointment in advance is recommended because individual color development and sensitivities cannot be predicted with certainty.
I confirm that the information I provided is accurate and complete to the best of my knowledge. I voluntarily consent to receive the selected spray-tan service.
